Analytics product posture
Potato Ledger is built around governed contribution reporting: harmonised semantics across finance, product, and commercial activity, with explicit grain and lineage suitable for operator decisions.
Declared grain
Analytical outputs are only as defensible as the grain at which facts are joined and attributed. A published product would name the canonical grain (for example time, product, channel, or campaign), how dimensions roll up, and where approximations are introduced.
Outputs versus truth layer
Dashboards and exports are read surfaces. The contribution model and measurement rules constitute the governed truth layer. The separation keeps presentation churn from silently rewriting definitions.
Tenant-facing expectation
Tenants should expect versioned measurement logic, audit-friendly lineage, and controls that separate raw evidence from serving artefacts. Exact controls and SLAs would be stated in product documentation at general availability.
